After 10 years of working in collaboration with architects like Renzo Piano, Massimiliano Fuksas and Oscar Niemeyer, Massimo Alvisi and Junko Kirimoto decide to found in 2002 the architecture of fice Alvisi kirimoto + Partners. In 2008 they found an engineering partnership with Alessandra Spiezia e Arabella Rocca.
The office, actually with a staff of twelve people, in the last years stands out for some international awards; first prize for “Meno è più 4” about a nursery and a civic centre in Rome; second prize for “Piccole Stazioni Ferroviarie”; second prize for “Madrid 2016 – kayak site” for Madrid olympic candidature; winning award for the Corato theatre restoration, actually under construction.
