Poltrona Frau In Motion and Opacmare present Nautheos, the first pilot seat officially added to the brand’s catalogue — a new milestone in Poltrona Frau’s ongoing evolution within the world of yachting.
Born from the synergy between Poltrona Frau, a symbol of excellence in design and craftsmanship, and Opacmare, a leader in the development of systems and accessories for the nautical sector, Nautheos embodies the perfect balance of technology, comfort, and style.
Created to enhance the navigation experience, Nautheos offers the pilot a feeling of total control combined with exceptional comfort. Its architectural lines and rounded geometric forms merge into a harmonious design, enriched by refined details such as the armrests integrated into the backrest, designed to ensure protection while allowing complete freedom of movement.
References to Baroque architecture and concave geometries reinterpret Poltrona Frau’s iconic identity in a nautical key, giving life to a seat with a sculptural and contemporary character.

Available in three versions — classic, elegant, and sporty — Nautheos offers endless customization possibilities: from the hues of the Pelle Frau® leather collection to bespoke finishes and sartorial details such as quilting and contrasting stitching.
The 'classic' version, presented at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, pairs Pelle Frau® leather in saddle leather and sand tones with a teak base and footrest, and features bi-chromatic double-thread stitching that highlights the artisanal mastery typical of Poltrona Frau.
With Nautheos, Poltrona Frau In Motion expands its horizons within the nautical sector, transforming the on-board experience into a journey through comfort and beauty. It represents the natural evolution of a path that began in 2005 with Pershing, continued in 2020 with Ferretti, and in 2021 with Wally.
Through this new seat, the In Motion business unit reaffirms its dedication to research and innovation, bringing the excellence of Made in Italy craftsmanship to the helm — where every detail becomes an expression of authentic, functional luxury.
