Louis Vuitton Foundation

Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors and Frank Gehry worked together on the project to furnish the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, a multipurpose creative space that hosts temporary exhibitions, galleries and permanent collections. The main auditorium, equipped with 340 custom seats supplied by Poltrona Frau, will be used for a wide range of events and shows. The installed seats stand out for their unusual sides in steel sheet; the back of the backrest is in visible wood while the armrests are made from curved plywood. The automatic folding seats have joints in anti-noise nylon while the springs are obtained using a special elastic sheet. The chair is the perfect blend of cutting-edge style, innovation and original design and fits perfectly with the Foundation’s futuristic vibe.
