Situated within one of Cape Town's most established residential neighbourhoods, this private residence in Constantia presented an opportunity to integrate Poltrona Frau's Italian craftsmanship into a home of genuine architectural character. Pieces were specified across the principal living areas, including the main living room, formal lounge, entrance foyer and bedroom, each selected for material quality, proportion and an ability to settle into the existing interior without imposition. The upholstered seating, leather armchairs and bedroom furnishings contribute a consistency of tactile refinement throughout: furniture that belongs to the space, and is built to remain so.
