Leplì | Small armchair
The Leplì padded small armchair comes with a birch and poplar plywood structure, with kraft cardboard padding. The backrest structure is made of Polimex® and poplar plywood. The padding is made of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The Leplì armchair is available in various combinations of leather and fabric. The base can be fixed, made of MDF painted black and scratch-resistant; rotatable, with ‘return’ mechanism that allows a 360° rotation with return to the initial position; and with wheels, with 5 pivoting wheels inserted inside the base.

Concept and design
Leplì is a chair, armchair, stool, bench, and pouf. Kensaku Oshiro designs four versatile pieces with a strong identity. The designer draws on traditional Poltrona Frau processes and decorations, combining them with sartorial details borrowed from the world of fashion. Classic stitching and soft folds bring out the sinuous simplicity of the design. The voluptuous curves of the stool, in particular, are inspired by the female form and, like in a dress, a slender belt highlights her “waist”.
